Just to remember

This may come off as listy, rambly, or just plain "whatever," but... This is my space. And today I want to use it to write down the things my kids have said to make smile and/or cringe.

As we were sharing a public restroom, and I used the toilet after her, Zoey bent over the examine and then yell, "MOMMY! You have a BIG bottom!"

Sitting down for lunch today, also Zoey, reaching across the table to hold my hand, "Mommy, you're the best Mommy."

Shepherd a couple weeks ago, deep in thought about ages, "When you turn 100, you turn back into a baby!"

Shepherd, talking about friends, "Mommy, you're my favorite friend EVER."

I hope I can remember this when they are 13 and don't want anything to do with me. For now, I plan on being naive and hoping that never happens. ;)
