If you follow me on instagram or twitter (and if you don't, then get to gettin!), then you know the husband and I have spent this week sans-kids, but up to our eyeballs in home improvements. I have promised before & after pics, but the after isn't totally finished yet!

the first of four trips to Home Depot this week

We have painted both the kids' rooms, pulled up all the carpet in the house (except our bedroom), and are currently still working on putting together a bed frame for Shepherd and a kitchen table. I have a few things still on order from different places--a rug for Zoey's room, and the professionals are going to finish our wood floors and tear up the entryway tiling at the end of this month.
