4th of july recap

We had a great 4th of July. Husband took Friday and Tuesday off, so we had a extra looong weekend to spend with his family in the Coal Region of PA visiting his family. His parents have 3 dogs (1 of which used to be ours, but they adopted him when we moved during my 8th month of my 2nd pregnancy), a swimming pool, and live 3 miles from a family amusement park. Needless to say, the kids had a blast, and we all came back exhausted! Here are just a few pictures:

We couldn't keep the kids out of the pool--the loved it so much. Shepherd rode every ride he was able to ride, and he eventually understood that "tickets=ride" and kept running to Grandpa to ask for tickets. It was too much! We had a blast and are excited to see our Indiana family for a whole week(!) in only 10 days.

P.S. I just learned that there was an accident today at Knoebels and a young boy passed away after being transferred to a local hospital. Please pray for his family and know that the park is a very safe and fun place.
